All Children in Grades PreK- Grade 6 are invited to attend the Faith Formation opportunities offered in our Parishes. It is the goal to provide learning experiences centering on the beliefs of our faith, the celebrations of our faith through the liturgies and sacraments, Catholic Christian morality and service, and private and communal prayer services. The children are taught in the classroom, parent/student faith sharing centers, and through service projects. The children are also invited to experience our greatest form of prayer through the Mass and Children’s Liturgy of the Word for preschool through grade four.

Preschool children have the opportunity to attend Sunday School at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass. Their formation is encompassed in the Children’s Liturgy of the Word Program. The content of the program is offered through Seeds from Pflaum Gospel Weeklies.

Kindergarten & Grade One and Grades 3 & 4 attend classes on Wednesday evenings. The content of this program is: What the Church Believes and Teaches from Pflaum Publishing Group.

Grade 2 and all children requiring First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation attend classes on Wednesday evenings, parents and children attend together. Growing Up Catholic through Pastoral Planning is implemented in this faith formation experience.

 Grades 5 & 6 attend classes on Wednesday nights and the content of the program is published by St. Mary’s Press and entitled Catholic Connections for Middle Schoolers. The two courses used are: 1) God, Revelation, and Faith and 2) Jesus Christ. The students are also offered three Activity Nights on Friday nights throughout the year.
